A person’s development and competitiveness of businesses is closely tied to their ability to promote and initiate processes of innovation , capacity is only achieved through training courses aimed at updating and professional qualification.
This is the objective of continuing education for workers.
Aimed at maintaining the employability conditions along the arc of life and development of the adaptability of workers to the labor market, lifelong learning is an essential component of lifelong learning. ETC Language School The continuing education system aimed at people in employment has tended to increase and update knowledge and skills, closely related to organizational and technological changes of the production system and the labor market.Both the European policies that reform of the work indicate the continuing education the best way to protect workers, because it makes them competitive and attractive subjects for the labor market and for companies.
The continuing education activities may be provided by the companies themselves, or be carried by workers.
Currently the Italian system of continuing education is regulated by Law 19 July 1993, n. 236. The legislation provides that the Ministry of Labour, the Regions and Autonomous Provinces to fund activities designed to:
1.operators and employees of the institutions training trainers
2.employees of companies benefiting from the extraordinary intervention of wage
3.employees of companies that contribute at least 20% of the cost of activities
4.those without employment and registered as unemployed who have participated in community service.
Since 1999 it introduced the experiment of training vouchers , instruments for expanding the skills and knowledge of the individual, not necessarily coincident with the demands of companies.Recently, with English courses in England Article 118 of Law 23 December 2000, n. 388 (supplemented by Art. Law 48 of December 27, 2002, n. 289), was prepared for the establishment of joint inter-national funds for the training continues , interconfederal made through agreements between trade unions of employers and workers .Purpose of the Funds is to promote the growth of continuing education, or to support and fund the qualification and retraining of workers. Through the funding of training plans agreed between companies and unions, the Funds intend to promote, then, job growth and business competitiveness.
